Julianna is a Southern California native who has recently moved back to the Los Angeles Area after living in the Bay Area for about 10 years. She has been woking in curly hair salons since 2018 and has been working behind the chair with her own curly clientele since 2021. She is ready to share her passion in beautiful Los Angeles.

She started her curl journey during her freshman year of college at SFSU after years of straightening and generally mistreating her hair. After completing her degree in Psychology, she knew she wanted to have a career with an emphasis on self-care that involved helping others feel good about themselves and creating a more empathic world. She decided to pursue her creative dream of becoming a hairstylist because it aligned with her professional goals and satisfied her soul. Embracing her curls and learning how to take care of her hair has been the most liberating and affirming experience for her. She wants to help as many people as she can on their very own curl journeys as they learn to appreciate their hair and give themselves grace.

Julianna understands the importance of knowledge to ensure a successful curl journey. She has a passion for educating her ​clients and celebrates the joy of finding curl plans that are tailored to each individuals desires and lifestyles.

Her chair is a safe space for ALL. She loves making meaningful connections with her guests and establishing bonds that foster trust and enjoyable experiences. She has considerable experience working with the entire spectrum of textures and curl patterns. She revels in the solidarity and shared experiences of other folks with textured hair and has found her life’s purpose in supporting others through their curl journeys.
